This cord set adapter converts a NEMA L14-30 male to an RV TT-30 female to allow you to connect an RV to a 30 amp 125/250 volt receptacle (L14-30) on a generator up to 7500 watts. This cord set adapter includes 14" of 10/3 cord with an L14-30 male plug at one end and an RV TT-30 female connector at the other end. PLEASE NOTE: A 30 amp 7500 watt generator normally runs 30 amps to each hot blade on the receptacle. Since the RV TT-30 is a 125-volt only device, only ONE hot leg of the plug is wired, and the other would be inactive. Connecting this adapter to your generator for long periods of time may cause the windings of the generator to run imbalanced which could potentially shorten the life of the generator. GenTran is not responsible for any damage caused by the use of this cord.
